The Northern Spirits Youth Talent Development Program is made possible by the following three partners:  The Northern Sport, Culture and Recreation District (NSCRD); Musqua Entertainment (Voices of the North); and Missinipi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).

Over 50 youth from communities throughout northern Saskatchewan participated in a workshop in early spring. Of those participants, 25 talented young people were selected to return to Prince Albert to produce and to perform in the 2nd annual Northern Spirits Showcase.

The Northern Spirits Showcase is a signature event of the Aboriginal Music and Arts Festival.

Congratulations to the following participants from the Northern Spirits Workshop, held May 17-19, 2008 in Prince Albert, that have been selected to develop and deliver a Northern Spirits Showcase on October 12, 2008 at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre in Prince Albert!

25 successful candidates will be involved in putting on their own show.
